Material Overview

At TOSCO Studio, we craft high-quality concrete pieces using innovative techniques that balance strength, texture, and artistic expression. Our material blends concrete, sand, and fiberglass, resulting in durable yet refined surfaces that showcase marbling and terrazzo-inspired patterns.

Each piece is handcrafted, ensuring no two designs are identical. Due to our artisanal process, colors may vary, and pattern scales are adjusted proportionally to the object’s dimensions to maintain visual harmony and balance.

    • Composition: Concrete, sand, and fiberglass

    • Finish: Spill-proof, water- and oil-repellent coating

    • Color: Available in multiple shades using eco-friendly pigments

    • Thickness Options: Minimum 2 cm for flooring, customizable for other uses

    • Maximum Panel Dimensions: 200 x 100 cm (for optimal durability, smaller sizes are recommended)

    • Weight: 9-10 kg per m² (for pieces 2 cm thick)

    • Durability: High resistance to wear and abrasion

    • Density: Approx. 2.4 g/cm³

    • Porosity: Low, sealed with a protective finish

    • Thermal Resistance: Stable up to 80°C (direct heat exposure should be avoided to maintain finish integrity)

    • UV Resistance: High, with minimal fading under prolonged sunlight exposure

    • Flooring: Suitable for high-traffic areas; custom sizing recommended

    • Furniture: Ideal for tables, countertops, and decorative pieces

    • Coverings: Perfect for walls, panels, and architectural surfaces, adding texture and depth to interiors

    • Outdoor Use: Works well in covered outdoor spaces due to its protective finish

  • To preserve the beauty and longevity of your TOSCO Studio piece, follow these guidelines:

    • Daily Cleaning: Use a neutral soap and warm water with a soft cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals.

    • Handling: Although durable, concrete can chip or break if impacted. Handle with care.

    • Surface Protection: Use coasters and placemats for hot or wet items. Clean spills immediately.

    • Finish Reapplication: For high-use surfaces, a protective coating reapplication is recommended every 2-3 years.

    • Standard Production: 4 to 12 weeks, depending on project size and complexity

    • Samples: Standard kits are available for immediate shipping; custom samples take up to 10 days

    • For bespoke projects to begin production, we require a 50% adjudication fee, which is non-refundable. The remaining 50% + shipping costs must be paid in full before dispatch.

    • Collection pieces require 100% adjudication fee payment and shipping payment before the order is dispatch.

    • Orders will not be shipped until final payment has been received.
